The Natural and the Manmade is a short film by Sophie Tuckwell, about Zak Miskry – an artist creating animal sculptures out of scrap metal, recycled electronics, and salvaged materials.
The video for Loser sees the camera rotate around Arrdee in several minimalist studio vignettes, watching his previous videography on screen, fighting in a boxing ring and sitting atop a mountain of empty moving boxes – perhaps suggesting that he is here to stay, and not going anywhere.
On 3rd and 4th August 2021, 6 musicians came together for the first time, to create an original piece of music. This film reflects the two day writing and recording session, elements of the subsequent mixing and mastering at Durham Sound Studios and The Exchange, together with vignettes of the musicians filmed around London.
Two friends, Julian and ‘Dinge’, escape the shackles of privilege to live on a council estate. ‘Dinge’ recalls his most recent adventure of getting the coolest tattoo on Earth, using the darkest needle grease in cosmos.
This project for Jameson wiskey combined fire breathing, amazing mixology skills and a Phantom Flex camera capable of filming at 1000 frames per second, stretching a second into a minute.
We had a lot of fun making this music video for synth duo AK/DK for their new single Lagom.
With a mix of slo mo, super slo mo and messy messy slo mo, we brought to life the song’s themes of excess and restraint (‘Lagom means ‘just the right amount’ in Swedish).
Oh, the memories. Phats & Small’s ‘Turn Around (Hey What’s Wrong With You)’ was one of the most inspiring House tunes in the late ‘90s and it returns in a multitude of forms and shapes to get the amassed crowds cheering and chanting again.
This documentary reflects on the coronavirus pandemic through the voices of many different people from teachers and nurses to students and mothers. The thoughts and opinions of these individuals are visualized through home objects and domestic materials to emphasize the familiarity of home that the lockdowns have caused.

We all need escape. Whether you find solitude in the car, in bed, or 5 minutes before the children come home. She finds escape from the turmoil and abuse in the only room with a lock.
Filmed as part of my second year college assessment, with constraints of a minute max runtime and no dialogue, I created my first ever attempt at a fictional narrative.
